Take a tour of The Bothy

We enter the Bothy through the front door, and climb the stairs into the spacious and airy living room with its high beamed ceilings. As you can see, it is comfortably furnished, and has views towards the sea to the south. With a woodburner stove (logs supplied), digital TV/DVD player and a selection of DVDs, together with a well-stocked bookshelf, you are sure to enjoy some relaxing evenings.

We also have a selection of board games for our younger guests.

Through the archway, we find the fully-equipped kitchen, and the dining area with a glazed stable door overlooking the former farm buildings towards the distant hills in the west. All tea-towels, dish-cloths and cleaning materials are supplied; highchairs available on request. We also have a coolbox and ice-packs should you want to have a picnic.

 

For instant refreshment on your arrival, we provide all you need to make tea or coffee. Why not save on your packing and do a Tesco's online shop before you leave home, arranging delivery for after your arrival?

Down the staircase again, we come to the main entrance hall. Either side of the hallway, you'll find the two cosy bedrooms, one twin with en-suite shower room, and one double with en-suite bathroom. A cot and child's bed with linen are available on request. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails with towels provided (but you'll need to bring your own beach towels!). Soap and shampoo are provided, along with some toilet rolls for your arrival.

 

Outside the front of the Bothy is an enclosed area with table and chairs. There is a small washing line (with pegs). A larger line is available in the garden of the main house.
